Remarkably Bright Creatures

5 star movie. Yes, you should absolutely watch it.

This movie is poignant, following two people whose lives collide when they both end up caring for an octopus living out his last days in an aquarium. The biggest reason you should watch it? The movie is narrated by the octopus. As a whole, it's a beautiful commentary on humanity, animal intelligence, and how truly, incredibly small the world really is.

I saw this movie just scrolling through Netflix one morning and thought it looked good and just clicked on it. I wasn't really sure what it was about beyond the 15 seconds of the trailer I watched. (I don't really watch movie trailers. Not the whole thing anyway. I feel that trailers give too much away, and I can't truly take in the film and form my own opinion without the bias of the trailer influencing me.)
